Ace Precision Machining Llc is seeking a skilled CNC Turning Setup Machinist to join our team. You will perform full setups on CNC turning centers and execute complex machining operations using GD&T, blueprints, and process controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of CNC turning experience, preferably aerospace materials
• Strong ability to hold tight tolerances on complex geometries
• Proficient with GD&T, blueprint interpretation and in-process inspection
• Safety-first mindset and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform full setups on CNC turning centers and complete complex machining operations
• Read and follow job routers, process control sheets, and engineered sketches
• Independently troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, surface finish defects, dimensional drift, tool wear, and machine variances
• Collaborate with programmers to refine tool paths and optimize G-code
• Inspect critical features using micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMM reports, and metrology equipment
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Work on multiple machines to improve utilization
• Be part of a collaborative team to produce quality parts for aerospace applications
