Job summary

Regal Rexnord Cleveland is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder (Machine Operator) for the 2nd shift to produce precision components using CNC centerless grinding equipment. This onsite role offers a pay range of $20.25/hour to $21.50/hour, with a $2.00/hour shift differential and benefits on day one.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, maintain quality standards per ISO 9001, and support production with thorough inspections and finishing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CNC grinder or centerless grinder experience.
• Ability to read verbal and written directions.
• High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint-reading skills.
• Ability to read and use measuring devices (micrometers, calipers).
• Knowledge of grinding parameters (wheel speeds, feed rates, tolerances).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC centerless grinding equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to verify work requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools and deburr finishing as needed.
• Move materials through production and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is seeking an experienced 2nd shift CNC Grinder (Machine Operator) to join our team.

Pay Range of $20.25/hour to $21.50/hour based on experience with overtime opportunities

Additional $2.00/hour 2nd shift differential

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation – Operate CNC centerless grinding equipment while adhering to production requirements, quality standards, ISO 9001 guidelines, and established work procedures.
• Blueprint & Process Interpretation – Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify work requirements and support the production of quality components.
• Precision Inspection & Finishing – Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Identify defects and perform deburring and finishing operations as required.
• Production Support – Move completed materials to the next stage of production, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support continuous improvement, quality, and operational excellence initiatives.

Education and Experience

• 1+ years of machine operator experience on an CNC grinder or centerless grinder.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint-reading skills.
• Ability to read and utilize measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers.
• Working knowledge of grinding parameters, including wheel speeds, feed rates, and maintaining dimensional tolerances.
