Job summary

OBE is seeking a CNC operator to run a glass grinding operation on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-4pm). You will track, locate, and record CNC production on provided schedules and communicate production demands to operators on each shift.

The role requires reading sketches, interpreting them onto glass edges, and operating grinders, cranes and vacuum lifts safely. Regular attendance and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand sketches and interpret their meaning onto glass edges.
• Read schedules and understand edger’s production demands based on information schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a grinder to fabricate a quality ground or polished edge.
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Complete daily work sheets and forms.
• Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job.
