Job summary

OBE seeks a CNC machine operator for glass fabrication on the second shift. You will read sketches, locate and record CNC production on schedules, and communicate production needs across shifts to keep workflow steady.

This 2nd shift runs Sunday-Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Position requires basic computer use, ability to read a tape measure, and math skills for measurements and fractions.

Qualifications

• Basic computer familiarity.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read and perform mathematical calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals normally acquired through high school education or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC machine for glass and track/locate/record CNC production on schedules.
• Read and interpret sketches and translate into glass edges.
• Communicate production demands with operators on each shift.
• Operate a grinder to fabricate a quality ground or polished edge.
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Complete daily worksheets and forms.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and safety.
