Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking an, CNC machine operator to fabricate glass edges according to sketches and production schedules. This role requires operating grinders, cranes, and vacuum lifts on a first shift (Mon–Fri, 6am–4pm) with attention to quality and safety.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and record production data on daily sheets. Training and safety compliance are emphasized, with opportunities for growth and a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer familiarity is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to read schedules and perform measurements with fractions/decimals.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret sketches to guide glass edges.
• Read schedules and translate into production demands.
• Operate grinder to create ground or polished edges.
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Complete daily worksheets and forms.
• Maintain regular attendance and follow safety policies.
