Job summary

XOVR CNC Parts & Service is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. This role covers installation, training, and on-site support for X-Series CNC machinery across the United States.

Applicants must be comfortable traveling frequently and working with complex mechanical and electrical diagrams to keep equipment running at peak performance. You will install, align, and troubleshoot CNC systems, train customers, document service reports, and collaborate with engineers and managers to

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (layout/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in machine installations, training, and service for CNC machine tools.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Self-motivated with strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to problem-solve methodically, and provide logical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Installing and base-lining/debugging new CNC equipment systems
• Training new customers and operators on equipment operation and procedures
• Maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting existing equipment systems
• Performing data analysis to assess machinery performance
• Documenting machine safety, maintenance, and operational reports
• Reading and interpreting layout, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams/schematics
• Collaborating with engineers, service managers, and customers
• Providing accurate and thorough reporting on project progress and completion
• Mechanical systems installation experience is a plus!
