Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair machine tool equipment across the New England region. The role requires reading schematics, strong customer service, and travel readiness to support Haas- and other tool-sets.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with willingness to learn complex tasks and on-the-job training.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical repair of diesel engines, generators, industrial machinery, HVAC, EDM/Laser/Waterjet/CNC tools; Haas repair a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Excellent customer service, technical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Flexible hours and frequent travel across the New England regional territory.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
• Research machine issues using manuals and vendor resources.
• Document status of issues, repairs and installations with office and customer.
• Promote and perform preventative maintenance and provide after-sales technical support and training.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of machine tool products represented by the company.
