Job summary

Tsugami America, a division of Morris Group, Inc., is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair Tsugami CNC machine tool equipment at customer facilities throughout New England. With training from experienced technicians, you will learn to diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance.

This role is ideal for recent technical school graduates or hands-on technicians. You will travel, document service reports, and build strong relationships with customers while

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience welcomed.
• Interest in CNC machinery, automation, or manufacturing technology.
• Basic ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics (training provided).
• Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and service documentation tools).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to assist with installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tool equipment and controls.
• Identify performance issues and assist with preventative maintenance to maximize machine uptime.
• Support the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Research and resolve machine issues using manuals, documentation and internal resources.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service status and next steps.
