Job summary

Tsugami America, a division of Morris Group, Inc., seeks an Entry-Level Field Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for recent technical school graduates, early-career technicians, or individuals with hands-on mechanical or electrical aptitude who want to learn and grow.

You will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of Tsugami CNC machine tool equipment at customer facilities throughout New England.

Qualifications

Mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience welcome.
Interest in CNC machinery or manufacturing technology.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics (training provided).
Basic computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to assist with installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of CNC equipment.
Identify performance issues and assist with preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
Research issues using manuals and internal resources to resolve machine problems.
Communicate professionally with customers on service status and next steps.
Complete service documentation accurately (reports, install reports).
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Participate in ongoing technical and safety training.
