Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering is seeking an entry-level technician to travel to customer facilities in the region to install, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC laser cutting equipment. You will receive extensive training and mentorship from experienced technicians as you build expertise in sophisticated machinery.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, preventative maintenance, and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, certificate, or hands-on experience in a field such as mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical technology, automation, or CNC machining.
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to install, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with equipment repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to develop technical skills.
• Work with experienced technicians during training and field assignments.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
