Job summary

Productivity Inc. is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of CNC metalworking machines across northern Texas, with emphasis on the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

The role requires 3+ years’ hands-on experience and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills. Based out of Richardson, TX, you will travel to customer sites, perform installations and calibrations, and provide technical support with documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery or CNC equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing problems with motors, drives, sensors, controls, or related components.
• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines (Haas, Makino, Matsuura, Hwacheon, Citizen/Miyano, etc.).
• Machine installations and setup.
• Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Travel locally to customer sites within northern Texas, with emphasis in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; occasional overnights (4–6 per month) may be required.
