Job summary

Productivity Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to support high-precision CNC machine tools and automation systems at customer facilities across northern Texas.

We expect hands‑on CNC maintenance and industrial electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, with the ability to read electrical schematics. Local travel with occasional overnights is required, and a technical degree or cert is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery or CNC equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing problems with motors, drives, sensors, controls, or related components.
• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC metalworking machines (Haas, Makino, Matsuura, Hwacheon, Citizen/Miyano, etc.).
• Machine installations and setup.
• Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Travel locally to customer sites within northern Texas, with emphasis in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; occasional overnights (4–6 per month) may be required.
