Job summary

Top Echelon LLC partners with a CNC Tool Distributor to recruit a skilled CNC Field Service Technician. You will travel to customer sites across MN, WI, SD, and ND to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and controls.

You will diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, review manuals and vendor docs, and communicate clearly with customers. A ROAD WARRIOR with up to 25% travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience repairing or maintaining CNC machinery.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 25% throughout the assigned territory.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training and technical seminars.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned
