Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to support customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools, ensuring peak performance and uptime across the region.

You will travel to customer sites (MN, WI, SD, ND) up to 25% and work with spindle and bearings, CNC controls, and related equipment, providing preventive maintenance and expert troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on CNC repair/maintenance experience.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Strong knowledge of CNC controls and basic electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting with high attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25% as a road warrior.

• Submit service and installation reports accurately and promptly.
• Maintain high professionalism and technical excellence with customers.
• Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay updated on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training.
• Maintain deep knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are partnered with an incredible CNC Machine Tool Distributor on their search for CNC Service Technicians! As a CNC Field Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.

• Valid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 25% throughout the assigned territory
• Comfortable interacting professionally under pressure with customers and colleagues.
