Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to support customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools across the upper Midwest. You will install, troubleshoot, and service equipment to keep production lines running at peak performance.

Travel up to 25% within MN, WI, SD, ND and surrounding region while communicating clearly with customers, submitting reports, and applying your deep knowledge of CNC controls, mechanics, and hydraulics to deliver professional, high‑quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience repairing or maintaining CNC machinery.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 25% throughout the assigned territory
• Comfortable interacting professionally under pressure with customers and colleagues.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training and technical seminars.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned
