Job summary

Kellenberger is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to install and service grinding and lathe equipment across the region. The role demands strong mechanical and electrical skills and a readiness to travel extensively.

You will diagnose and repair CNC systems, read drawings and schematics, and provide hands-on training to customers on machine tools and accessories. Company vehicle, phone and computer are provided.

Qualifications

• Preferred: AAS in Electronic Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Mechatronics or related field; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Minimum of 2 years in troubleshooting and repair.
• Equivalent education/experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic support for warranty and non-warranty products with on-site visits and remote assistance.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on machine tools.
• Demonstrate and train customers on operation and maintenance of machine tools and accessories.
• Coordinate with customers on upgrades, options, and service requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with customers until all quality issues are resolved.
• Share knowledge with field staff and collaborate with other departments as needed.
