Job summary

Swift Placement and Consulting is seeking a Service Technician to manage service calls from initiation to repair completion in the California area. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and servicing CNC machines while maintaining excellent communication with clients.

The ideal candidate has CNC field service experience, the ability to read schematics, and is self-motivated. Travel is necessary, including day trips and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC field service is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Self-motivated with a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of entire service call from initial phone call to completion of repair.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance services on CNC machines.
• Install and service CNC machining centers and lathes.
• Clear communication with customer and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of entire service call from initial phone call to completion of repair.
• Perform and promote Preventive Maintenance services on CNC machining centers, lathes, and wire EDM machines
• Install and service CNC machining centers, lathes, and wire EDM machines
• Turn in expense reports once a week
• Clear communication with customer and management

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC field service is a plus
• Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Self-motivated
• Working reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Desire to continually increase knowledge

TRAVEL

• Day-trip travel is required, with occasional overnight hotels stays as necessary.
