Job summary

Swift Placement and Consulting is hiring for a CNC field service technician in the Wixom area of Michigan. The ideal candidate will manage service calls from start to finish, perform preventive maintenance, and install CNC machinery. Candidates should have experience in the CNC field and be able to read electrical schematics. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required. The position offers competitive wages along with excellent benefits including medical and vacation pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC field service is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Self-motivated individual with a desire to continually increase knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of entire service call from initial phone call to completion of repair.
• Perform and promote Preventive Maintenance services on CNC machining centers.
• Install and service CNC machining centers and wire EDM machines.
• Clear communication with customers and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of entire service call from initial phone call to completion of repair.
• Perform and promote Preventive Maintenance services on CNC machining centers, lathes, and wire EDM machines
• Install and service CNC machining centers, lathes, and wire EDM machines
• Turn in expense reports once a week
• Clear communication with customer and management

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC field service is a plus

• Working reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Travel

• Day-trip travel is required, with occasional overnight hotel stays as necessary.
