Job summary
JTEKT Machinery Team is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install CNC machine tool systems and provide expert troubleshooting and maintenance at customer sites. You will support customers remotely as well as on-site, coordinate repairs, and manage training and projects.
Significant travel and occasional weekend trips are required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in machine tool maintenance or installation, with a strong background in electrical/mechanical systems, and a Bachelor’s degree in a
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering field.
- 5+ years machine tool maintenance/technology experience (electrical and mechanical).
- 5+ years installation/maintenance of machining centers with CNC checks.
Responsibilities
- Install CNC machine tool systems and accessories at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or application issues.
- Coordinate resolutions and suggest repairs or replacements for CNC tools.
- Provide on-site and remote support to customers and colleagues.
- Manage projects and deliver training as needed.
- Travel up to 100%, including overnight and weekends.
