Travel 15–20% with some longer assignments is required; a high school diploma plus CNC hands‑on experience is essential, and familiarity with FANUC controls is preferred for efficient problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus hands-on CNC technician experience.
• Applied math proficiency with fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Proficient with PCs for email, records, databases, documents, spreadsheets, and basic graphics.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 15–20% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CNC machine tool installations following manufacturer standards.
• Commission systems and demonstrate full operation to customers.
• Use schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to determine procedures.
• Tune drives, align assemblies, and troubleshoot subsystems to maintain tolerance.
• Inspect assemblies and verify moving parts operate within limits.
• Engage with project managers, supervisors, and customers to report status and plan actions.
• Define tools, equipment, and parts needed to complete work efficiently.
• Deliver routine service and co-create preventive maintenance schedules.
