Methods Machine Tools, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC milling and turning machines at customer facilities in the Phoenix area.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including Fanuc controls, with daily travel to customer sites. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in CNC field service, solid reading of mechanical drawings, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC field service.
• Hands-on knowledge of Fanuc controls (CNC programming experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, part prints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CNC milling and turning machines at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair automatic tool changers, pallet systems, spindles, and turret mechanisms.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and part prints to execute repairs accurately.
• Troubleshoot electrical/CNC controls and electro-mechanical assemblies using multimeters and phase checkers.
• Provide professional customer communication, explain diagnoses and maintenance steps.
• Travel daily to customer facilities to perform service.
