Job summary

AIT is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join its industrial team. The role involves installing new equipment, performing regular services, and diagnosing and repairing CNC machines and facility systems to keep production running smoothly.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and perform preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment. AIT offers a competitive package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or technical school in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Two years minimum with hand and welding tools.
• Certifications for machine safety preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CNC machines, including vertical machining centers and lathes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and production machinery.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts using hoists and power tools.
• Read blueprints and repair manuals to determine corrective actions.
• Work with supervision to report faults and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide emergency/unplanned repairs as needed.
