Job summary

Acme Wire Products is seeking a hands-on CNC Engineer to drive innovation across our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on transforming customer concepts into production-ready solutions through product design, tooling development, CNC programming, process engineering, and continuous improvement.

You will own projects from concept through production by designing products and tooling, developing processes, programming equipment, validating methods, and collaborating with production teams

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer products from concept through production.
• Review drawings, CAD models, and specs to determine efficient manufacturing methods.
• Improve existing designs for manufacturability, quality, and cost reduction.
• Create engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and documentation.
• Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing and quality issues.
• Design, fabricate, assemble, and validate tooling, fixtures, inspection gauges, and fixtures.
