Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Saint Marys, Ohio, is seeking a dependable Maintenance Machine Repair/Electrical technician for 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm). Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging, gearbox and bearing, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic/pneumatic maintenance.
• Experience with troubleshooting or programming PLC controllers preferred.
• Basic math and blueprint understanding.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on equipment and facilities following safety guidelines.
• Execute preventative maintenance of equipment and building facilities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to limit downtime.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment using hand and machine tools.
• Perform building maintenance including electrical, carpentry and plumbing.
• Initiate machine programs using CNC or PC programmers.
• Identify and remediate safety hazards; coordinate with contractors.
