Job summary

Coburn's Exclusive, LLC is seeking a versatile shop tech to operate a 3 kW flatbed laser, 3 kW tube laser, 10' CNC press brake, 6x12 water jet, and CO2 laser after training. Responsibilities include basic daily and weekly maintenance, collaboration with the CNC department lead and programmer, and maintaining sheet metal inventory.

Willingness to learn and adapt is essential. Requirements include CNC knowledge and prior press brake experience a plus; background check and valid US work

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic functions of the 3 kW flatbed laser, 3 kW tube laser, 10' CNC press brake, 6x12 water jet and CO2 laser.
• Perform basic daily and weekly maintenance on each listed machine.
• Collaborate with CNC department lead and programmer to ensure on-time project completion.
• Assist in maintaining accurate sheet metal inventory.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed.
• Assist with annual preventative maintenance for listed machinery.

Job description

Coburn's Exclusive is seeing an individual that can be trained to operate a variety of machines in our shop, including a Press Brake, Laser Tube, and Laser Flatbed.

Position Requirements:

• Press Brake experience a plus
• Knowledge of CNC machines preferred
• Knowledge of other metal fabrication processes preferred
• Willingness to learn and adapt

SPECIFIC DUTIES OF THE JOB:

• After training, tech is responsible for the basic operations of our 3 kilowatt flatbed laser, 3 kilowatt tube laser, 10' CNC controlled Press Brake, 6x12 Water Jet, and CO2 laser
• Expected to complete basic daily and weekly maintenance tasks for each machine listed above
• Will work closely with CNC department lead and programmer to ensure projects are completed on time
• Expected to assist the team with maintaining accurate inventory of sheet metal
• Expected to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery listed above
• Assist with annual preventative maintenance for machinery listed above
