Job summary

Coburn's Exclusive is seeking a trainee who can operate a range of machines including a press brake, laser tubes, and laser flatbed. After training, you will handle basic operations for our 3 kW flatbed laser, 3 kW tube laser, CNC press brake, water jet, and CO2 laser, while assisting with inventory and maintenance. A background in CNC and metal fabrication helps, and a readiness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC machines preferred.
• Press Brake experience a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment.
• Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic functions of the 3 kW flatbed laser, 3 kW tube laser, 10' CNC controlled Press Brake, 6x12 Water Jet, and CO2 laser after training.
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks on listed machines.
• Collaborate with CNC department lead and programmer to ensure timely project completion.
• Assist in maintaining accurate sheet metal inventory.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with listed machinery.
• Assist with annual preventative maintenance for listed equipment.

Job description

Coburn's Exclusive is seeing an individual that can be trained to operate a variety of machines in our shop, including a Press Brake, Laser Tube, and Laser Flatbed.

Position Requirements:

• Press Brake experience a plus
• Knowledge of CNC machines preferred
• Knowledge of other metal fabrication processes preferred
• Willingness to learn and adapt

SPECIFIC DUTIES OF THE JOB:

• After training, tech is responsible for the basic operations of our 3 kilowatt flatbed laser, 3 kilowatt tube laser, 10' CNC controlled Press Brake, 6x12 Water Jet, and CO2 laser
• Expected to complete basic daily and weekly maintenance tasks for each machine listed above
• Will work closely with CNC department lead and programmer to ensure projects are completed on time
• Expected to assist the team with maintaining accurate inventory of sheet metal
• Expected to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery listed above
• Assist with annual preventative maintenance for machinery listed above
