Randstad USA is seeking a versatile CNC Machinist/Production Technician for 1st shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM). The role blends running fabrication machinery with hands-on production assembly, with a transition to a full CNC machining focus in 3–6 months at a growing Missouri facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

CNC Machinist / Production Technician Shift: 1st | 8-5pm Pay: 25-30/hr (DOE)

Position Overview We are seeking a versatile, equipment-savvy CNC Machinist to join our 25-person team. This full-time role combines running fabrication machinery with hands‑on production assembly. As our in‑house program expands, this position will transition into a 100% dedicated CNC machining role within 3 to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• CNC & Metal Fabrication (50% initially, scaling to 100%): Set up and operate a 30 kW CNC laser cutter and hydraulic press brake to cut and bend stainless steel and aluminum parts.


• Quality & Precision: Maintain high efficiency and meet required tolerances with minimal material waste.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience preferred.


• Equipment Knowledge: Experience operating CNC equipment (laser, waterjet, mills, lathes, or hydraulic benders/press brakes).


• Materials: Familiarity working with stainless steel and aluminum.

Schedule & Environment

• Shift: First Shift — Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends.


• Overtime: Occasional overtime available based on demand (5–10 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Machinery: Setup and operate a 30 kW CNC laser cutter to cut precision parts.


• Operate Bending Equipment: Setup and run a hydraulic press brake to make required bends on cut materials.


• Material Handling: Work primarily with stainless steel and aluminum stock to manufacture internal parts (e.g., sides of conveyor systems, specialized machine components).


• Cross-Functional Production Work: Perform secondary assembly, parts handling, and machine testing for client shipments alongside production technicians.


• Maintain Quality & Efficiency: Produce parts to spec with minimal waste/rejects and meet required tolerances efficiently.
