Job summary

Pro Mechanical Services in Calera, AL, is hiring skilled CNC Brake Press/Laser Operators for a full-time role at our local metal fabrication facility.

You will set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brakes, read blueprints, ensure tolerances, and inspect parts. We offer 1st and 2nd shift, $25-$27 per hour, weekly pay, and health, dental, vision insurance, plus PTO in the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in CNC brake press and laser operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient in inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Willing to work overtime and pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Calculate bend allowances, angles and dimensions as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and tolerances using measuring tools.
• Maintain safe working conditions and participate in overtime as required.

We are seeking skilled CNC Brake Press/ Laser Operators! This is a full- time position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication.This job consists of bending, forming, cutting, and shaping various metals with CNC machinery. Candidates must have 3+ years of proven experience in this field.

• Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available.
• Pay: $25 - $27 an hour based on previous experience.
• Set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Calculate and adjust bend allowances, angles, and dimensions as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances and part quality.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and Background.
• Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
