Job summary
MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and modernize operations in a hands-on, shop-floor environment. This role focuses on CNC/CAM programming, process development, problem solving, and continuous improvement within a professional manufacturing facility in PA.
The ideal candidate will work directly with machinists and operators to capture knowledge, document current methods, and standardize processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
- Hands-on CNC machining and CAM programming experience.
- Ability to develop CAM programs from 3D CAD models and support setup/prove-out.
- Experience documenting manufacturing processes and work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and standardize CNC/machining processes.
- Create, verify, revise, and maintain CAM programs for CNC equipment.
- Develop CAM programs from 3D models and support production.
- Lead the implementation of new CNC equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot issues.
- Create process maps, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Capture tacit knowledge and formalize into procedures.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
