Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma with CAD/blueprint/CNC training.
• Minimum five to seven years in a machine shop with hands-on machining and programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply tool geometry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plans, creates and implements CNC programs and tooling plans.
• Maintains existing program revision levels and shares them with manufacturing.
• Plans and implements engineering projects and measures results.
• Evaluates tooling, processes and systems for modification or replacement.
• Proposes cost improvement plans to meet financial goals.
• Promotes SmartCam usage throughout the company.
• Provides engineering problem solving support across the facility.
