The Birmingham, AL branch is looking for CNC Burn Table Operators for 1st Shift.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate CNC-controlledburntableto cut steel plate and sheet metal according to job specifications.
• Load and unload material using material handling equipment.
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and CAD files to set up machine parameters.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Fulfill work orders involving order pulling, part marking, and packaging.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Other assignments as directed.

Required Experience

• Ability to read micrometers and tape measures

Skills Required & Physical Demands

• Proficient in Windows-based software and CNC control interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of decimals, fractions, and basic trigonometry.
• Proficient with tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Comfortable working in an industrial setting around machinery, overhead cranes, and moving equipment.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift throughout a full shift, including regular lifting over 50 lbs and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Must tolerate temperature fluctuations in an open warehouse environment.
