Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years CNC Brake Press experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong understanding of measurements, angles, tolerances, and basic shop math.
• Ability to use measuring instruments (tape, calipers, protractors, angle gauges).
• Knowledge of metal types, gauges, and material thicknesses.
• Experience performing machine setups and tooling changes.
• Ability to inspect parts and maintain quality standards.
• Basic computer skills for operating CNC controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC brake press equipment to manufacture precision metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions to determine bend sequences and specs.
• Select tooling and machine settings to achieve required angles and dimensions.
• Form parts to tight tolerances and maintain bend accuracy within 0.3 degrees.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and perform quality checks throughout production.
• Work with various materials and thicknesses ensuring safety standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment per company procedures.
