Job summary

Key Personnel in Holland, MI seeks a Brake Press Operator (1st shift) for a temp-to-hire role. The ideal candidate will operate a brake press, load and unload parts, and input data into a CNC controller according to blueprints. Calibrations, cleanings, and quality checks are required to ensure parts meet specs.

Drug screening and background check are required. Experience with brake presses and measurement tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous press brake operation experience.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Familiarity with calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators and scales is required.
• Position requires ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Note: This company can consider candidates with a felony on their record that is non-violent and more than seven years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate a brake press and produce parts for assembly operations.
• Load, operate and unload material.
• Use a CNC controller to input information into the machine and adjust per process control instructions and blueprints.
• Perform machine calibrations, cleaning and quality control evaluations, and some machine adjustments as needed.
