Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking an upbeat CNC Manufacturing Engineer to support our customers and internal sales team.

You will design, own, and implement custom manufacturing solutions, focusing on automation, robotics, and training to grow revenue in the CNC arena. Working alongside the sales team, you will develop solutions, provide training, perform part processing reviews, and maintain in-depth product knowledge across our machine tool lines to deliver tangible value for customers and the

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on machining background with at least 5 years of demonstrated ability in process development and programming of CNC machines.
• Confirmed working knowledge of MasterCam and/or Esprit software is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal skills required.
• Tooling and ancillary machining equipment knowledge is a must.
• Frequent travel throughout our regional territory; some overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Part programming of CNC Machine Tools, process development, and customer training.
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
• Drafting accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Programming and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills with automation and robotics.
• Developing/implementing customer demonstrations and training users in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes and robots.
• Possessing and maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.
