Morris Group, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH seeks an upbeat CNC Manufacturing Engineer to design, own, and implement custom CNC solutions for customers and internal sales teams.

You will program CNC machines, develop processes, train users, and contribute to automated solutions with robotics. Travel within the regional territory is required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on machining background with at least 5 years of demonstrated ability in process development and programming of CNC machines.
• Confirmed working knowledge of MasterCam and/or Esprit software is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal skills required.
• Tooling and ancillary machining equipment knowledge is a must.
• Frequent travel throughout our regional territory; some overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Part programming of CNC Machine Tools, process development, and customer training.
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
• Drafting accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Programming and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills with automation and robotics.
• Developing/implementing customer demonstrations and training users in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes and robots.
• Possessing and maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.
