Job summary

Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., is seeking a qualified Preventative Maintenance Technician for Monticello, MN. The role involves programming CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss lathes, and supporting customers with training and turnkey demonstrations.

Candidates should have strong hands-on machining experience with CNC machines and be willing to travel regionally. CAD/CAM proficiency and familiarity with MasterCam/Esprit/SolidWorks are a plus. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on machining background with at least 3 years of experience with CNC machines.
• Experience on Swiss and Okuma controls is a plus.
• Proven solid understanding of CAD/CAM software is vital.
• MasterCam, Esprit and Solidworks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-sale activities and reviews, including customer visits and turnkey proposals.
• Make accurate cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans.
• Program and set up CNC lathes, vertical/horizontal mills, and Swiss lathes.
• Develop and implement demonstrations and train customers in CNC setup and operation.
• Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines.
