Job summary

Allegion, a global leader in safety and security, is seeking a CNC Applications Engineer for the Princeton, IL area. You will review jobs, develop machining processes, and lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.

The role requires hands-on programming, setup, and problem solving in a precision environment. Ideal candidates have a 4-year engineering degree, 5+ years with Fanuc CNC centers, and strong CAD/CAM and blueprint-reading skills.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years’ experience with Fanuc CNC machining centers in precision manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Review new jobs, prints, programs, tooling to prevent setup interruptions.
• Determine machining methods, sequences, tooling, and feeds/speeds.
• Perform in-process inspections with precision instruments.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and cost-saving projects.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
