Job summary

DMG MORI USA is seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical support and lead advanced machining projects for CNC machines. You will perform time estimates, set up complex machines (Mill-Turn, 5-Axis), and develop fixtures for demos and turnkey solutions.

Expect collaboration with customers, sales, and internal teams to ensure precision and quality. The role requires 4–10+ years of experience, a BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (preferred), and knowledge of part processing,

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related field preferred.
• 4–10+ years related experience.
• Mill-Turn experience required; robotics a plus.
• Knowledge of part processing, metal cutting, CNC programming, reading drawings, and machine setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customers, sales, and trade shows.
• Perform time estimates for customer parts with tolerance.
• Set up CNC machines including Mill-Turn and 5-Axis.
• Design fixtures/work holding for demos, tests, and turnkey projects.
• Generate CNC programs using CAM systems and G-Code/macros.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Train customers on equipment after installation.
• Prepare engineering reports and proposals.
