Job summary

DN Solutions America is seeking an Applications Engineer in Schaumburg, IL to develop CNC programs and complete machining processes for SMX and DNX mill-turn machines. You will perform setup, prove-out, and support customers with training and process optimization.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC/machining experience, strong CAD/CAM skills, and travel to customer sites. Join our team at the Chicago Technical Center and at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent hands‑on experience in machine tool tech or mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years of CNC machining or applications experience, with mill-turn or multitasking machines.
• Proficiency reading and editing G-code; ability to program and troubleshoot complex parts.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs and complete machining processes for SMX and DNX machines (milling, turning, multitasking).
• Lead turnkey projects from part review, process planning, to prove-out and customer acceptance.
• Set up machines, verify programs, and validate part quality, cycle time, and readiness.
