Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in CNC milling/turning, knowledge of G-code or conversational programming, and the ability to train others. This position supports a lean, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Over 10 years’ experience in CNC machining.
Working knowledge of DMG-Mori NT series machines.
Adheres to zero-accident safety culture.
Strong shop math including fractions, decimals, and trig.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances.
For CNC machines, strong understanding of G-code and/or conversational programming.
Knowledge of fixturing and safe/work holding.
Understanding of turning and milling insert geometries and grades.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machining equipment including DMG-Mori NT4300.
Program at the machine for CNC equipment.
Machining of components to print dimensions and tolerances.
Measure parts with micrometers and calipers.
Maintain an organized, safe work environment and drive improvements in safety and efficiency.
Accurately completing all paperwork associated with tasks performed.
Keep trainings up to date.
Work on a variety of parts and processes across multiple machines.
Rely on experience and judgement to complete assignments.
May train lower-level employees or lead the manufacturing team.
