Trident Machine Tools, a Haas distributor, seeks an CNC Applications Engineer to support demonstrations, customer training, process development, and technical sales activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on with CNC milling/turning, improving productivity, reducing cycle times, and implementing machining solutions.

This role combines technical expertise with customer interaction and problem solving to drive machine tool sales and customer success across the region.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Haas control features, software updates, and new machine technologies.
• Ability to train customers on machine operation, programming, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and process-related issues.
• Maintain knowledge of Haas control features and new technologies.
• Train customers on machine operation, programming, and workholding.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for Haas products.
• Conduct customer demonstrations in showroom and at customer sites.
• Support sales with technical evaluations and recommendations.
• Assist with machine runoff and acceptance testing.
• Travel regionally 30-50% to support demonstrations and training.
