Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide one-on-one home care, allowing you to slow down and focus on the person you’re caring for.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• High School Diploma.
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with RNS safety policies.
• Reliable, insured vehicle.
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities.
• Daily access to RNS email.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current TB test or willingness to complete one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one care based on the client’s needs and care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Monitor clients and report changes in condition to the appropriate RNS team member.
• Assist with fall prevention and safety monitoring.
• Take and document vital signs as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and other non-medical support.
• Assist with light household tasks and errands as appropriate.
• Provide safe transportation when required.
• Work comfortably in homes with pets when applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all RNS policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the RNS care team
