Job summary

South Mountain Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate CNA1 Transportation Driver in Boonsboro, Maryland for a full-time daytime role. You will transport residents to medical appointments, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.

A CNA1 certification, valid license, and CPR or willingness to obtain are required. Responsibilities include safely moving wheelchair-bound and ambulatory residents, coordinating with clinical teams, and maintaining a clean vehicle while following safety

Qualifications

Current CNA1 certification
Valid driver's license
CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to work dayshift hours with flexibility for appointment times
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable

Responsibilities

Safely transport wheelchair-bound patients, as well as ambulatory patients and those requiring assistance, to and from medical appointments and other destinations
Provide exceptional care and attention to detail while transporting residents, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
Effectively communicate with the clinical team and residents' families to ensure smooth transfers and updates
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols
Be self-motivated, organized, and willing to learn and grow with our company
