Job summary

South Mountain Rehab Center is a respected skilled nursing facility dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our residents. Located at the foot of South Mountain between Hagerstown and Frederick, MD, the center seeks a CNA-1 to join our team and provide compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and offer emotional support to residents.

Qualifications

• CNA-1 in Maryland is required.
• Experience in long-term or skilled nursing care preferred.
• Genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators.
• Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional and social support with kindness and respect.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care.
• Support the facility's philosophy of care and its goals.

Job Summary

We are nestled at the foot of South Mountain between Hagerstown and Frederick, MD. As a CNA-1, you will be an integral part of our team, providing compassionate and personalized care to our seniors. You will work closely with our nursing staff to assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional and social support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators
• Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff
• Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect
