Job summary

Westminster Oaks is seeking CNAs with Med Tech Certification for its Assisted Living department in Tallahassee. The role provides daily nursing care to residents under supervision, upholding dignity and rights while delivering excellent service in compliance with regulations.

The position is part-time (15–20 hours per week) with every other weekend, offering benefits such as health insurance, PTO, a 403(b) plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Must be a Florida-certified nursing assistant (CNA).
• Medical Technician Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Prefer 6+ months of experience with older adults in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, ambulation, toileting).
• Maintain beds, hygiene, and meal delivery in resident rooms.
• Take vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols and facility policies.
• Document care using the CNA ECS flow-sheet.
• Make routine rounds and ensure safety equipment is in working order.
• Provide timely incontinent care and reposition residents to prevent skin breakdown.
