Job summary

Westminster Oaks, a retirement community in Tallahassee, is seeking CNAs with Med Tech Certification for its Assisted Living department. This role provides routine daily nursing care and adheres to safety and dignity standards under supervision.

CPR certified and Florida CNA license are required; 6 months’ experience is desirable. Schedule is 15-20 hours per week, every other weekend. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, PTO, 403(b) with match, tuition reimbursement and EAP.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified nurse’s aide in Florida.
• Medical Technician Certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, mobility, toileting).
• Maintain rooms and hygiene; ensure meals are served and beds are made.
• Take vital signs and report changes to nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control measures.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet accurately and timely.
• Conduct rounds and ensure safety equipment is functioning.
• Prevent skin breakdown with timely incontinent care and repositioning.
