Job summary

Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee is seeking CNAs with Med Tech Certification for its AL department. This role provides daily nursing care to assigned residents, while preserving dignity and ensuring patient rights and safety.

You will communicate with the healthcare team and follow all applicable regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, preventing skin problems, documenting observations in the CNA ECS flow-sheet, and performing routine

Qualifications

• Must be certified nurse’s aide in accordance with Florida laws.
• Medical Technician Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with caring for older adults is desirable (minimum 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Daily Living Activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, ambulation, toileting).
• Perform daily tasks: beds made, trash removed, meals served, maintain hygiene.
• Take vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow Infection Prevention and Control procedures.
• Document observations in the CNA ECS flow-sheet.
• Make routine rounds and ensure safety equipment is in good order.
• Provide timely incontinent care and reposition residents to prevent skin breakdown.
