Grandview Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in Connecticut is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for full-time and part-time shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You will provide direct resident care under supervision, support activities of daily living, and help create a supportive, respectful environment for residents.

The role emphasizes quality patient care, timely documentation, teamwork with licensed nurses, and ongoing training.

Formación

• Perform direct resident care duties under licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) of residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Observe residents and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Participate in data collection for MDS and care plan development.
• Ensure adequate hydration for residents according to needs.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with dining as needed.
• Keep records of food intake and output.
• Monitor ventilation, temperature, light, and noise levels.
• Take vital signs and weights as directed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and assist with other needs.
• Assist in orienting and training other staff.
