Grandview is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the weekend shift. The Weekend CNA will provide direct resident care, support daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for our residents.

This position is ideal for a CNA looking for a consistent weekend schedule with a collaborative nursing team in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Connecticut CNA certification.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Respond to call lights promptly and courteously.
• Support infection control and safety procedures.
• Promote residents’ dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being.

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.

Qualifications
