Job summary

Oceanview Nuring and Rehabilitation Center in Far Rockaway, NY is actively seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to work all shifts in our Skilled Nursing Facility.

This role offers a wage of $22-25 per hour with union benefits and requires NY State CNA certification, good standing with the State Registry, and COVID-19 vaccination. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend and be a team player.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Current NY State Certification as CNA.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
• COVID-19 vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Observing residents.
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting residents with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving).
• Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake.
• Feeding residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping resident spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
